OUR COACHES
At 108 Beach Volleyball Club, we have a team of experienced coaches who are dedicated to helping young athletes develop their technical skills and prepare for success both on and off the court. Our coaches are passionate about volleyball and love to share their knowledge and expertise to develop players of all skill levels.
Deidre Walker
Director
Former Division 1 Indoor volleyball setter and current record holder for assists at Radford University with over 25 years of coaching experience at the club, high school and middle school levels. She has competed in beach volleyball & indoor volleyball as an adult, as well.
Paityn Walker
COACH
Current Head Beach Volleyball Coach at Southwest Baptist University (NCAA Division 2) and former standout Division 1 collegiate beach volleyball player at Eastern Kentucky University who was a local All-Decade, All-Area and All-State athlete in volleyball, Cross Country and Track & Field at Colonial Forge HS. She has coached for FJVC, Core Volleyball, 540 Volleyball Academy and 108 Beach Volleyball Club.
Ryleigh Lewis
COACH
Played collegiate beach volleyball at Saint Andrews University (NAIA) and is the current JV Assistant Coach at King George High school. She has played volleyball for 14 years, including club volleyball with 540. She is getting her master’s degree at VCU in Forensic Science and is passionate about the game and loves helping athletes develop both on and off the court.
Maria Clark
COACH
Former volleyball, softball and cheer athlete with experience coaching high school (8th year) and club volleyball (5th year). Currently Varsity Volleyball Coach at King George High School and formerly coached 12 Elite at 540 Volleyball Academy and 12 Platinum for CORE. She has played around the world in coed tournaments while serving in the Army. She loves the sport and any opportunity to share the love of the game with young athletes!
Mark Walker
COACH
Former Division 1 baseball player at Radford University with over 30 years of coaching experience in club, high school and middle school sports. He has led his middle school volleyball team to multiple county championships.
Sophia Kaiser
COACH
Former Division 2 volleyball athlete at Emory & Henry University where she excelled on the court and in the classroom earning D2 ADA Academic Achievement Award and SAC Commissioner's Honor Roll. She was also a standout beach and indoor athlete at Richard Bland her freshman and sophomore years. She is passionate about inspiring athletes and will lead others with her grace & experience both on and off the court.
Allison Spittal
COACH
Former standout volleyball athlete at North Stafford High School with multiple District, Area, Region and State team honors. Allie is an accomplished Beach Volleyball Player winning AVP East Coast Championships 14's along with high finishes at multiple elite level tournaments across the country. Allie currently plays beach at NCAA Division 1 Florida Atlantic University and has had an excellent first year season in the 5's pair.
Courtney Carter
COACH
​A former competitive softball player and youth softball coach, she earned her Bachelor’s of Business Administration from Averett University and currently works as a contractor for the DEA. She has been involved in volleyball through her daughters’ experiences with 540 Volleyball Academy, 108 Beach Volleyball Club, and Fredericksburg Victory. She is in her fourth season as an assistant coach with Fredericksburg Victory Girls Varsity and Victory Club Volleyball. She is passionate about sharing her love for the sport while helping develop young athletes both on the court and as confident, well-rounded individuals.
